Cinematic Anti-Fog
Antivaho Cinematográfico is an independent production company founded by director and producer Èrika Sánchez and editor and director Xavier Esteban. They form the core team of the company.
Our most notable productions include Panteres, a short film directed by Èrika Sánchez, which premiered at the 2020 Berlinale and has been screened at over 80 festivals worldwide, receiving numerous awards. Panteres is a precursor to the feature film The Quiet Women, currently in development. Also noteworthy is Perifèria, a feature-length documentary directed by Xavier Esteban and Odei A.-Etxearte, which premiered at Seminci and Dok.fest München in 2020 and has been screened at several international film festivals, including the Rotterdam Architecture Film Festival, the Budapest Architecture Film Days Festival, and the Lisbon Architecture and Film Festival.
Currently, we have completed the experimental musical short film 'Resonances (of a silent music)' which will premiere in 2023. It has been financed by the Spanish Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA) and the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC), as well as by other public and private entities.
And we are currently working on the production of the feature film Dietari Final, co-directed by Erika Sánchez and Ariadna Pujol. The film is an initiative of the Master's Program in Creative Documentary at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and has guaranteed funding from the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC).
